Introduction to the GDPR - 1 Day Partner Training Course

Course Overview
Data Protection laws are undergoing the most significant overhaul in the past 20 years. The new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will become law on May 25th 2018. The government has confirmed that the UK’s decision to leave the EU will not affect the commencement of the GDPR.

  • The new regulation will be enforced with penalties for non-compliance of the greater of €20 Million, or 4% of gross global turnover for the previous year.

  • It will impose legal obligations on organisations and afford new rights to those whose personal data is being held.

  • With financial penalties for non-compliance being so substantial, it is vital that your organisation is fully prepared as early as possible.

All businesses need to understand what they need to do, how it affects them and the significant preparatory work that they need to do in readiness for the GDPR coming into effect.

This comprehensive 1 day course will provide you a good understanding of the new regulation, the changes it will bring and the potential impact it will have on your customers.
